Kellie Grengs

costume director

B.S., University of Wisconsin-Stout; M.F.A., Tulane University

Kellie Grengs has been with Loyola designing costumes and supervising the costume shop for ten years. She earned a M.F.A. in Costume Design at Tulane University in New Orleans and holds a B.S. in Apparel Design and Manufacturing from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, WI.

Kellie supervises the Costume Shop and oversees designing and construction of the costumes; she teaches Make Up for Stage and TV and a variety of courses in the department.  Recent awards include “Best Costume Design” from the Ambie Awards by Ambush Magazine for “A Christmas Carol” and “Excellence in Costume Design” from the American College Theatre Festival Region VI for “The Children’s Hour.  Kellie is a member of the Costume Society of America and will act as Chair to the Marketplace for the 2008 Annual Symposium in New Orleans. She also does volunteer work in New Orleans for the LA-SPCA, Looziana Basset Rescue and Planned Parenthood.
