James MacKay

James MacKay has numerous years of experience teaching music theory courses. His research has focused on performance practice issues in the keyboard music of the Classical era. He has delivered several papers on William Byrd and the analysis of early music, the subject of his doctoral dissertation. He has been with the College of Music faculty since 1999.
